DAkkS Calibration of Dry Block Calibrators
Dry-block calibrators are calibrated by comparison with calibrated resistance thermometers or thermocouples. The calibration is based on the DAkkS-DKD guideline R5-4 for calibrating block calibrators or Klasmeier’s own test reports for ISOTECH devices. The calibration is provided with a DAkkS calibration certificate as standard, but traceable calibration can also be done.
Wide temperature range: -40 °C to 1300 °C
Short turnaround time of 3-5 working days
Manufacturer independent calibration
Possibility to optimise your temperature dry block calibrator by manufacturing custom-built calibration inserts and ceramics

Accredited calibration of block calibrators according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS)
Block calibrators are calibrated by comparison with calibrated resistance thermometers or thermocouples. The basis for calibration is the DKD guideline R5-4 for calibrating block calibrators or the specific calibration instructions from Klasmeier for ISOTECH devices.

Accredited calibration according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS) of a temperature block calibrator at 5 temperature points (distributed across the calibration range or as specified by the customer). This includes the adjustment of the controller and the display device when the deviation of the calibrator no longer meets the specifications (for ISOTECH devices).
The calibration result includes the following details:
Deviation of the calibrator at the test points
Measurement uncertainty of the calibration
In case of adjustment, additionally:
Input values of the temperature block calibrator
Correction values for adjustment
Calibration duration: approximately 5 working days or as agreed.
Accredited calibration according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS) of temperature testers
Temperature testers are calibrated by comparison with calibrated resistance thermometers or thermocouples. The basis for calibration is the DKD guideline R5-4 for calibrating block calibrators or the specific calibration instructions from Klasmeier for ISOTECH devices.

Controller optimization for ISOTECH products

When calibrating dry-block calibrators, the temperature difference between the setpoint and the calibration temperature is not of essential importance, as the calibration only determines an actual state.
However, many customers consider this temperature difference to be of particular importance, as they use the block calibrators in order to be able to make conformity statements about their test items. However, as block calibrators are often heavily used, this is often difficult due to the drift of the instrument.
The calibration service Klasmeier has developed its own optimization procedure to improve the “control and display accuracy”.
ISOTECH calibrators calibrated at Klasmeier go through an optimization cycle several times. This is an approximation procedure in which the control parameters are increasingly better adapted to the calibration temperature.
For third-party devices, optimization is possible if the corresponding procedure is provided.
