DAkkS calibration at temperature fixed points
Medium-temperature precision thermometers can be calibrated in our own DAkkS calibration laboratory. DAkkS accreditation ensures that all calibrations are traceable to national and international standards.
The medium-temperature precision thermometers have been designed for excellent calibration at temperature fixed points. The measurement uncertainty is calculated from many components. The largest contributions to the measurement uncertainty budget are the reproducibility of the thermometer, ITS-90 deviation function, self-heating, and hysteresis of the temperature sensor. Using the parameters from the calibration certificate, the medium-temperature precision thermometer can be used with the respective deviation function in the temperature range from -38 °C to 420 °C.
