DAkkS Calibration at Temperature Fixed Points
High-temperature precision thermometers can be calibrated in our own DAkkS Calibration Laboratory. DAkkS accreditation ensures that all calibrations are traceable to national and international standards.
The high-temperature precision thermometers are designed to be highly suitable for calibration at temperature fixed points up to the aluminum fixed point. In the temperature range from 660 °C to 850 °C, a calibration by comparison method is additionally performed. The measurement uncertainty is calculated from many components. The largest contributions to the measurement uncertainty budget are the reproducibility of the thermometer, ITS-90 deviation function, self-heating, and hysteresis of the temperature sensor.
DAkkS Measurement Uncertainty
Low measurement uncertainties with DAkkS calibration certificate
Temperature fixed points up to Aluminum Freezing Point 660.323 °C
ITS-90 Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer (SPRT) for comparison calibration
