eXacal thermometers are calibrated in our own DAkkS calibration laboratory. DAkkS accreditation ensures that all calibrations are traceable to national and international standards. Measurement uncertainty is calculated from many components. The largest contributions are repeatability, self-heating, and hysteresis.
