Pt100 Model L Low-Temperature Precision Thermometer (-200 °C to 250 °C)

Manufacturer: Klasmeier / eXacal Model: Pt100L

Description

The low-temperature precision thermometers are used for precise temperature measurements or as calibration standards.

NEW Design: gas-tight handle with protective gas filling

Temperature range: -200 °C to 250 °C

low measurement uncertainties: 11 mK to 13 mK

robust alternative to ITS-90 Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs)

high stability and good calibratability

low temperature down to -200°C due to protective gas

New Design: Gas-Tight Handle with Protective Gas Filling

Thanks to the new design of the gas-tight handle, the protective tube of the low-temperature precision thermometer can be filled with a protective gas. This improves the thermometer’s properties and extends its temperature range down to extremely low -200 °C. Thus, the low-temperature precision thermometer can be calibrated down to the argon triple point at approximately -189 °C.

DAkkS Calibration at Temperature Fixed Points

Low-temperature precision thermometers can be calibrated in our own DAkkS calibration laboratory. DAkkS accreditation ensures that all calibrations are traceable to national and international standards.

The low-temperature precision thermometers have been designed to be highly suitable for calibration at temperature fixed points down to the argon triple point. The measurement uncertainty is calculated from many components. The largest contributions to the measurement uncertainty budget are the thermometer’s reproducibility, ITS-90 deviation function, self-heating, and hysteresis of the temperature sensor. With the parameters from the calibration certificate, the low-temperature precision thermometer can be used with the respective deviation function in the temperature range of -189 °C to 232 °C.
