Nella misura della temperatura con una termocoppia si sfrutta l\u2019effetto Seebeck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Thomas Johann Seebeck scopr\u00ec per caso che tra due estremit\u00e0 di una barra metallica si genera una tensione elettrica quando nella barra \u00e8 presente una differenza di temperatura (gradiente di temperatura). Collegando le due estremit\u00e0, scorreva una corrente elettrica, il cui campo magnetico dimostr\u00f2 con un ago di bussola. Nel 1821 Thomas Johann Seebeck riusc\u00ec a sfruttare questo effetto in una prima termocoppia.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Con l\u2019effetto Seebeck si genera una tensione elettrica tra due punti di un conduttore elettrico che hanno temperature diverse.<\/strong> Per misurare la tensione elettrica di una termocoppia, il cavo della termocoppia viene collegato a uno strumento di misura universale. Il materiale di collegamento degli strumenti di misura \u00e8 di norma in rame. La conoscenza della temperatura del giunto di riferimento \u00e8 un fattore determinante per l\u2019accuratezza della misura di temperatura con termocoppia. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con le termocoppie si misura sempre un confronto tra giunto di misura \u201ccaldo\u201d e \u201cfreddo\u201d. Se il giunto \u201cfreddo\u201d viene mantenuto sempre a una temperatura nota e stabile (ad es. 0 \u00b0C), questo incide direttamente sulla precisione della misura di temperatura. Un sensore di temperatura Pt100 calibrato monitora la temperatura del giunto di riferimento.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questo giunto di riferimento \u00e8 chiamato anche compensazione del giunto freddo, CJC, giunto di riferimento per termocoppie, compensazione del giunto di riferimento o termostato del punto di ghiaccio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div
