This is required in several guidelines such as&nbsp;<strong>DKD-R 5-4 \u201cCalibration of block calibrators\u201d, DKD-R 5-3 \u201cCalibration of thermocouples\u201d or DKD-R 5-1 \u201cCalibration of resistance thermometers\u201d<\/strong>. In addition, the thermometer is suitable for&nbsp;<strong>measuring and setting heating zones on calibration furnaces<\/strong>.&nbsp;Of course, the thermometer can also be used in general to&nbsp;<strong>measure temperatures accurately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-b1d50903 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Calibration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>eXacal thermometers are calibrated in our own&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.klasmeier.com\/en\/kalibrierdienst-klasmeier\/\">DAkkS calibration laboratory<\/a>. The DAkkS accreditation ensures that all calibrations are traceable to national and international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The calibration of the eXacal resistance thermometers is performed at ITS-90 fixed points. It is also possible to perform calibrations according to the comparison method in calibration baths and calibration furnaces. The measurement uncertainty is calculated from many components.
